The Texas Panhandle gets its name for its proximity to the handle-shaped portion of its neighbor, Oklahoma. It is the state's least populated region. A total of around 100,000 acres were listed for sale in Texas's Randall County recently; the combined value of all Randall County ranches, farms, hunting land and other rural land and acreage for sale was around $294 million. Randall County ranks 64th out of 254 counties in the state for the total acreage of land currently advertised for sale. Amarillo featured the most land for sale. Randall County is the 124th biggest county (922 square miles) in Texas. It's located in the Panhandle Texas region of the state.
