Chris Bartley

Chris joined F&W Forestry Services in 2011 as a field forester. He now serves as the Regional Manager in Texas, specializing in forest management for TIMOs, private landowner consulting, and timberland brokerage. Prior to joining F&W, Chris worked for the Texas Forest Service in forest inventory and forest pest management. He has also worked for the California Waterfowl Association conducting body condition studies on wintering waterfowl and banding ducks for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. He has a BS in Forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. He is a member of the Texas Forestry Association and Houston Association of Realtors. Chris is a Texas Accredited Forester and a Land Certification Program Inspector for the National Deer Association (Formerly QDMA). He is active in the community, donating his time to many U.S. Veteran benefits centered around getting veterans with disabilities into the outdoors. Chris lives with his wife in Montgomery, Texas where they enjoy hunting and fishing together along with many other outdoor activities.
