Moving to the outside of this beautiful mountain estate.....
The property has approximately 1,000 feet of road frontage on the scenic High Rock Road in the Red River Gorge. This road is one of the most popular scenic byways in the Red River Gorge region and hosts critically acclaimed short-term rental locations such as The Cabins at Birch Hollow, the High Rock Hideaway, and the Hive at High Rock....the latter two across the street from our HalleluYah Haven at High Rock estate.
Upon entering the property from High Rock Road one is immediately inspired by the scenic bluegrass valley with black hardwood plank equine fencing and lake to the right, as well as a central artesian spring fed lake nestled in the mountaintop valley that is the heart of this beautiful estate. A perfect equine location that easily supports at least 8 horses (or other livestock and animals) without the need to supplement feed due to the lush, improved chemical-free organic pastures with pristine mountain artesian spring water. To the right is the 50' by 50' Kentucky hardwood tobacco barn built in 2008, and recently updated with new paint and roof coating in 2023, a 1,200 square foot second floor mezzanine (increasing the total barn floor space to 3,700 square feet) that can be easily finished out to a nice barndominium or other multi-use or event space, and a 50' x 50' reinforced concrete floor. Additionally, 200 amp electrical service and water service was installed in 2024. The barn is designed with two large interior parking areas with high clearance doors and that can easily accommodate two up to 48 large coach motorhomes or 5th wheel trailers, as well as a large multi-use area in the the center part of the barn. Next to the barn is a 10' x 50' concrete slab with lean to roof that can be used for equipment or RV storage, or enclosed for additional living quarters. Also next to the barn is a new full-size sand volleyball court. Around the tobacco barn is a large improved parking and work area with a deep rock and DGA base to accommodate heavy vehicles without soil erosion issues.
Proceeding along the newly improved 1,100 foot driveway leading from High Rock Road to the farmhouse we come to the farmhouse parking area with a beautiful Mediterranean inspired water fountain and ample room to park various guest vehicles. Between the lake and the house is a new firepit social area with custom cedar furniture that can seat up to 16 people. Nearby is a beautiful 12' x 18' Amish gazebo with built-in bench seating. Behind the gazebo is a 100 year old scenic rustic hardwood animal and tobacco barn. This barn is unique in these days, being comprised of the extinct local chestnut planking, as well as walnut, maple, oak, and poplar woods.
The lake is fed by the same 100+ year old artesian spring that feeds pristine water to the farmhouse. The water in the lake is frequently crystal clear and is home to many trophy-sized largemouth bass and crappie fish. The water stays fresh and refreshingly cool year-round due to its spring-fed source constantly refreshing its waters.
On the north side of the lake is a new 20' x 30' x 12' greenhouse structure with a reinforced concrete pad.
Behind the house we find the organic orchard area with apple, peach, pear and cherry trees, as well as blueberries, blackberries and grapevines. Further up the hill is an irrigated organic garden area with trellising that has a drip-feed system from a spring-fed pond.
In the fall HalleluYah Haven at High Rock lights up in a panorama of autumn colors as the foliage of the maple and oak trees provides for a canvass of yellow, orange, red and purple hues.
