We are excited to have the exclusive listing on the Cornucopia Ranch located about 12 miles southeast of Pinon, NM. This is 23,890 acres (37.3 sections) of highly productive ranch land consisting of 1,618 deeded acres, 19,882 acres of BLM and 2,390 acres of State Lease. This ranch has a BLM allotment of 494 head making it the perfect size operation.

Land and Improvements

The main headquarters is centrally located with one set of working pens along with a set of catch pens on the east and west ends of the ranch. At the headquarters there is a nice 2013 Palm Harbor home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Also at the headquarters is a large barn with an overhang for horses or livestock to get in out of the weather. In addition, there other outbuildings that provide storage for tack and other miscellaneous items that you would want to keep out of the weather. The ranch is divided up into 7 main pastures, 5 traps and has 3 sets of working pens. Fences are all in good to newer working condition. Grasses on the ranch consist of Blue and Black Gramma, Side Oats, Tabosa, Sacaton and Brush Muley.

Water

The ranch is mostly watered via the Pinon Domestic Water line. The supply is very dependable and a clean source of good water. No more worrying about windmills, pumps, or electrical problems. There are multiple storage tanks strategically located throughout the ranch, most of which are gravity fed. With the ample storage also comes a good set of drinkers that are placed in a manner to support proper grazing practices throughout the pastures.

Hunting

There are some areas of brush in the lower parts of the ranch providing good cover for the native wildlife. Hunting consists of Mule deer, Barbary sheep, Oryx, Quail, Dove, and the normal varmints associated with SE New Mexico ranches. This ranch is diverse in many ways and provide a great opportunity to operate a high desert ranch with majestic views.
