The soils on the 120 acres tract are 53.76% Lafe-Bonn complex and 46.24% class III Foley-Calhoun-Bonn complex. The soils on the 159 acre tract are 53.49% class III Foley-Calhoun-Bonn complex, 22.88% class II Dubbs silt loam, 14.65% class II Dundee silt loam, and 8.91% class III Amagon silt loam.

Topography

The cropland is relatively flat while several of the wooded drains and sloughs have mild undulation.
