Jack's tract is located west of I-95 off HWY 21 in Colleton County, 55miles from both Charleston and Savannah and 75 miles from Columbia.
This property consists of 20 acres of row crop, ~50 acres of natural regeneration, and the balance in mixed hardwood along the Little Salkehatchie River.
Jack's Tract provides a diversity of habitats for the outdoor enthusiast/hunter. Good populations of Whitetail Deer, turkey, and waterfowl call the Little Salkehatchie basin home. Mast-producing hardwoods provide ample food for the wildlife.
An opportunity to construct a waterfowl impoundment in the recent cutover/regen on the tract would add value.
An old logging road provides access to the hardwood bottom along the river.
This tract may be eligible for the WRE program.
