This is a tract of woodland that contains an old homesite. It contains approximately 24 acres of pine plantation approximately 14 years old. Approximately 13 acres on east side of property contains mixed pine hardwood stand of natural timber that is reaching maturity. This area contains a good amount of White Oak and Red Oak for the wildlife. The run of Jordan Creek is the eastern boundary. The remaining acreage is in old homesite, old barns, and brush. This tract would make a good timber investment as the pine plantation is becoming merchantable pulpwood. This would make an excellent deer and turkey hunting tract with Jordan Creek being a major wildlife travel area. Black Bear are also being seen in this area now.
From Hwy 1 take the Wise Five Forks Road east for approximately 6 miles. Turn right on the Blacks Road and tract is approximately .9 miles on left.
