The RK ranch is easy to work in generally level terrain with rolling hills. The ranch is 1-3 miles wide, east to west, by 5 miles north to south. There are four main pastures with a smaller trap that create easy pasture rotation to maximize use of available grasses and browse. The boundary of the ranch is fenced with a good exterior fence.

The topography of the ranch is generally flat with gently rolling hills. The deeded land and headquarters are at about 4,900 in elevation.
