Both cabins are 12 x 16 dry cabins. The main cabin (pictured) will remain fully furnished (minus the refrigerator) with two full floors with a handcrafted steel hinged stairway to go to the bedroom. There is a 55-gallon drum in the upstairs bedroom that we pump water to and gravity-feed water to the sink and washing machine. There is a small 12 volt solar system currently running and the cabin is setup to also run on a generator backup if you so choose.
The 2nd cabin is dried in, insulated, and unfinished, awaiting your creativity. This cabin has a 1/2 loft for the bedroom for sleeping. It does have a small wood stove and propane heater.
There is a small shower house equipped with a claw foot tub, antique dresser for storage, woodstove, and composting toilet. The shower is run off of a 30 gallon water tank, pumped with an RV pump, and heated with a propane water heater. There is a solar panel to charge the battery for the pump and to provide lighting. Off of the bathhouse is a makeshift woodshed we utilize to keep our wood dry.
The two 40 containers are spaced apart by 16 making it ideal for building a shop over top of them and inbetween and providing ample storage.
Our sawmill will stay with the property, enabling you to mill your own lumber.
Our homestead truck, a 2001 GMC 2500 HD Diesel, useful for firewood retrieval, and homestead chores will be staying with the property.
A 500-gallon propane tank rented from Amerigas is equipped with roughly 400 gallons of propane. Some assorted tools will be staying with the property.
Three veins of water come together directly in front of the main cabin, making it an ideal location for a well.
An International 260A Backhoe will be staying with the property. It will require a repair, though a great piece of equipment for such a place.
