Flatwoods Farm has been managed for quail, turkey, and deer for many years. This farm is currently enrolled in the Quail Habitat Improvement Program with USDA/NRCS. This program includes payments to the landowner for continuing the management. This land is prescribed burned semi-annually for the benefit of wildlife.
